  13. How about FPU emulation? any chance?

  15. : PC-Task V4.0 when it is released (as I said no official release date
  16. : yet) does 486 instructions (ie programs that require a 386 like Doom run).
  17. : It does have improved video drivers with better support for cybergraphx. 
  18. : It does have a new method of CPU emulation (commonly called dynamic
  19. : compilation) that can be much faster (CPU<-RAM speed is important).  It does
  20. : NOT give you 486 25Mhz speed on a 040 25Mhz or anywhere near that but it is
  21. : faster than previous versions.  It does NOT compile a MSDOS/Win executable
  22. : to an AmigaOS executable (which is by the way impossible to do for all cases
  23. : unless you have a unlimited machine or have fall back dynamic or
  24. : interpretive emulation).  It does NOT currently have soundblaster or ethernet
  25. : support.

  34.    I was a decent kid once, friends, a social life, well kempt. Girls liked
  35. me. I bought a TI 99/4A. It was fun.  I stayed home a little more.  I started
  36. hanging with a "different crowd".  I got an Amiga for my HS graduation in '85.
